72 year old Venice, California shopkeeper Herschel Bernardi runs away with his orphaned adoptive teenaged grandson Scott Jacoby, when social worker Stefanie Powers tries to take him away. In this hokey overdramatized TV movie with appearances from Larry Hagman and Tom Bosley, from the producers of the Golden Girls and Aaron Spelling with nice theme song by Paul Williams which would be recycled by Spelling for the Boy in the Plastic Bubble. High Risk (also known as Meltdown)

A 1995 Hong Kong action movie that claims to be a parody of Die Hard, but is more like a shameless rip-off wannabe, "starring" Jet Li.
Why this movie deserves riffing:
1) The dub is absolutely awful.
2) Many of the scenes make no sense or are laughably bad, such as the overuse of obvious mannequins during explosions, or the part where the villains trap a character in a bathroom and pull literal bags of snakes out of nowhere and throw them at her while laughing maniacally.
3) It's painfully obvious that the director made the movie as one…25 votes -

Never heard of this till recently. It's a 1996 Irish family sci fi film. It's about a boy who pretends he is an alien!

The Swordsman (1990)
Fantastic story and the wire fu is done very well. Very colorful cast of characters here and you have all sorts of deceit and trickery afoot. Also, some very inventive techniques that deal all sorts of interesting deaths. Sam Hui plays the main character in the first film, but Jet Li replaces him by the time sequel comes out.

This is a movie I was an extra for. You have wrestlers that fight an alien invasion in Florida. I could tell that it was going to be hilariously bad, just from the one short scene I was in.

Fatal Chase
Fatal Chase is a 1992 action movie directed by Philip Ko, starring Robin Shou, Waise Lee, and Yukari Oshima... fished out from the bottom of the pickle jar in the last minute.
Much like Bloodfight 2 (Death Cage), it's poorly dubbed. Though the film falls under So Bad, it's good territory. All filmed in the Philippines. Neat.

Kickboxer 3: The Art of War
The adventures of Sasha Mitchell (David Sloane, brother of Kurt and Eric Sloane) continue in Brazil. Riff material includes:
- Cliché charity going on from main characters (Major plot excuse for why David and Master Xian are there to begin with).
- Brazilian stereotypes(?)
- Richard Comar as the big bad

A very popular musical on Broadway that was adapted horribly on film. Basically it’s kinda a horror movie with the plot and of course the main actor being too damm old to play the part of a 17 year old. Dude he like 28 when he filmed this.

Rumplestiltskin (1987 version)
