An error occurred while saving the comment Michael Berger commentedThis Amicus production is an anthology of three films and the third film is classic. The inhabitants of an isolated village say they get their clothing and food 'from boxes" which turn out to be coffins.

An error occurred while saving the comment Michael Berger commentedThis is an 80's film that takes place in Orange County, California, which is also where and when I grew up. I can confirm that while Orange County has one of the largest Viet Namese populations in the country, and many OC kids were into skateboarding, (the world Slateboarding championship was held in Anaheim), none of the terminology in the film reflect anything ever said by any real humans that grew up in this time and place. This film combines weird, unnatural phrases such as gleaming the cube, with a mystery that is ultimately solved by Christian Slater.
The addition wasn't completely horrible until the climax when it became evident that the producers ran out of time and it money. The monsters eating the airport are so surprisingly badly rendered that it comes off as one of the most shocking and funny things I've ever seen.
