  1. Phobia

Phobia (1980) is a low-budget horror film about a psychiatrist facing the ever-growing possibiliy of losing his innovative treatment program as each of his patients are mysteriously being bumped off, one by one, in ways that relate to each of their biggest fears (e.g. agoraphobia, claustrophobia, etc.).

Reasons as to why this film should be riffed on:
    1) It was directed by John Huston, a name that the RiffTrax gang is very familiar with, so the riffing possibilities there are endless
    2) The film stars Paul Michael Glaser as the lead, making room for as many references to "Starsky and…

  2. Sharkman aka Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy (2005)

I picked up a 2 disc set of low-budget made-for-Sci-Fi Channel and direct-to-video shark movies at The Dollar Tree and this one stood out. It's mid-2000s cheesy Sci-Fi Channel goodness with the always fun Jeffrey Combs hamming it up and gorging on the scenery as a mad scientist who wants to cure cancer using shark DNA. Fun Saturday matinee Sci-Fi Horror entertainment.

  3. SchoolHouse Rock Educational Shorts

Schoolhouse Rock was a big part of my public school education. Basically every time it rained during recess, or a teacher just didn't want to deal with us, we'd be treated to an hour or so these educational animated shorts. These shorts felt outdated at the time and they definitely haven't aged gracefully. I'd love to watch you guys rip history, and my childhood education, a new one by taking on Schoolhouse Rock.

  4. Spooky House (2002)

Essentially this film is “Cool as Ice” if it mixed its cold medications, fell asleep watching Harry Potter, and dreamt it was a kid’s movie. I just finished watching it and am experiencing that special reality-questioning bewilderment you only get from the finest Rifftrax films. Why does it need to be riffed?
    1. Ben Kingsley, (AKA the Great Zamboni), and his removable mustache live with a jaguar in a papier-mâché castle in front of a matte painting. It might actually be a church, (there’s a graveyard), or possibly every Scooby Doo episode made three-dimensional.

  5. Mr. Wrong

Mr. Wrong is an incredibly dumb and insane rom-com starring Ellen Degeneres and Bill Pulman. It's really crazy and dumb. You'll have a great time.

  6. Lifepod (1981)

Low budget 90min SciFi movie from 1981. Best described as a cross between the movies 2001 A Space Odessy & Space Mutiny ! Not to be confused with a different & much better Lifepod space movie from 1993. BTW, I've been a Mystie since 1991. Keep up the great work you guys !

  8. mortdecai

It's difficult to fully appreciate the insaneness present in Mortdecai with Johnny Depp. Is it the utter disregard Depp has for any sense of normality? The bizarre situations he gets in or just plain weirdness of this film? Granted, it's no "Supervan" or "Cats" but it is a recent, big ticket film that's just waiting to be riffed.

  9. The Sword and the Dragon.

Well its basically Santa Clause before his Jolly Years, and its almost like the Weird Al Yankovic song The Night Santa Went Crazy.

  10. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

Hey Rifftrax gang, Im suggesting Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home as a riff for 3 reasons, and they are as follows:

    1. You get Spock in a very fashionable spa robe complete with headband for a majority of the film.

    2. Spock disables an 80's punk using public transit with a Vulcan nerve pinch

    3. At one point, the gang break into a hospital doing their best E.R. show audition years before it actually aired.

With that, I hope you consider this idea and riff on guys!

  13. Four Sided Triangle

Fodder for some sort of Bridget Nelson / Mary Jo Pehl / Matthew J. Elliott / Ian Potter combo. Will it be four or a triangle? Sci-fi AND soap opera. Fertile soil, indeed.

  15. Christmas Break in

A home alone rip off. This movie stars a little girl who is always being forgotten by her parents because her parents are busy with business stuff. The girl gets left at school and some robbers break in while she’s there. The robbers goal is pretty unclear and there’s a janitor played by Danny Glover. The dialogue is cheesy and the acting is flat. This movie would be the perfect Christmas riff.

  16. Tower of Silence

    1. Low budget fantasy, shot in Connecticut

    2. Overly serious, full of pauses, hastily edited, kinda unfinished. Modern day B movie. 3/10 on imdb.

    3. Early appearances of notable TV actors (Orange is the New Black, Star Trek)

  17. Llamageddon

If there was ever to be a Riff...this is it. A llama dropping to earth and wreaking havoc on teenage kids. Oh...it also has laser beam eyes. The acting is suspect. But also decides to throw in movie lines from classic movies. If the guy changing his shirt throughout doesn't get you...the llama punches sure will. This is a must do.

  18. A Belly Full Of Anger

Even the most jaded among you will be disgusted by the sight of it! Can you stand the frankness of truth behind every scene? Deranged killers who use an acrobatic form of boxing called 'kung fu' - their art is murder, their tools are their hands and feet, the canvas is anyone in their way... beyond the dreams of the most brutal butcher... an army of men ripped to pieces by justice... the law of the jungle is shown in all its savage horror through the use of techniques of terrible bloodflow... John Yohan Chung and Don Nguyen lead a…

  20. They call me Bruce

low-budget comedy, goofy Korean who finds his life hopelessly complicated with people continually confusing him with Bruce Lee is tasked by mobsters to bring some bags of flour across the country. Seriously rifftrax worthy.
