  2. Serenity

It's one of those films a bunch of people like made by some guy who ended up making another movie that was a lot more popular. I think it was called The Dark Knight or something.

But while Serenity is a good movie, I think it's a prime target for some ribbing and fun-poking.

  3. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within

Space, clearly not the final frontier, doubly so for movies. But now, Final Fantasy, The Spirits Within, takes Space to a new level, by presenting the most embarrassing, unapologetic, unhinged movies to have a tie into an existing franchise only to drag it's well known name through the mud, since Star Trek 5.

  6. Sheena Queen of the Jungle

Jawdroppingly bad jungle film with Tanya Roberts (who looks pretty but can't act) along with a host of other not very good actors, a horse painted to look like a zebra,a flock of angry flamingos and a chariots of fire mellow guitar soundtrack that plays over moments of extreem carange and violence. it's like it was made to riff.

It's a long episode of Scooby Doo with painfully slow dialogue just perfect for riffing!

  10. Hyper Sapien: People from Another Star

I found this film looking around, its Keenan Wynns last film.
It's a mid 80s sci fi family film about 2 girls from another planet who land in Wyoming.

This seems like perfect riff fodder!

  12. The Giant Behemoth

1959 giant monster film staring Gene Evans.
Very cheesy yet enjoyable and something they have fun with!

  13. The Colossus of New York

Late 50s film where a man's brain is transplanted into a cyborg!
Film is much like many classic MST3K films.
Only issue is that I believe Paramount owns this film still.

  15. The Flying Serpent (1946)

From the same great minds that brought you 'Mad Monster,' 'I Accuse My Parents' and 'Lost Continent' comes... basically a complete rehash of the far more popular 1940 Bela Lugosi film 'Devil Bat,' minus the star power of Bela Lugosi.

It’s got all the hallmarks of classic MST3K fodder, in that it’s dull, grey, and features lots of dramatic “action” sequences of middle-aged white guys driving well below the speed limit or shuffling slowly away from a hideous flapping monster that looks remarkably like a soiled dish rag that somebody taped Johnny Depp’s hat to.

    It’s also in the public…

  17. eXistenZ

Cronenberg re-imagines Videodrome....With eXistenZ "A game designer on the run from assassins must play her latest virtual reality creation with a marketing trainee to determine if the game has been damaged." Lot's of wait, what is reality? Elements of Matrix, 13 Floor, House of Leaves, and all with less body horror than even Nightbreed.

  19. The Mandalorian

Yes, it's awesome in so many ways but it's SO riffable too. So many opportunities for callbacks to past Star Wars riffs. Life Day! The Three Stooges Droids! And who wouldn't want to write snarky dialogue for Baby Yoda?

  20. Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) all 12 remaining with B&MJ

ALL Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films, riffed by Bridgette and Mary Jo. They have done such a great job, and there are, by my count, 12 left. This would be a great series for playing in the background, the movies are cheesy, but quite decent for the 1930s, and B&M are so perfect for them. It may exhaust the riffers, but I would be so grateful. Finally, the 2 riffs done so far are magnificent! Plus: I make mean New Mexico Enchiladas; will cook for riffs.
