'The Hobbit' as imagined by Soviet Russia
This may lack the glistening whizz-bang CGI of Peter Jackson's effort, but it leaves out the interspecies relationship, the bits that were clearly just there for the video game/theme park ride.
And it tells the story of this medium-length book IN ONE NORMAL-LENGTH MOVIE!
Check out a bit of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sl7w2Z0vGpA

skinny and fatty
Used to see this short film about two Japanese schoolboys, one skinny and poor, one fat and well-to-do, who become unlikely friends on the old CBS Children's Film Festival.
As a kid, it was the first foreign film that I ever saw that didn't have Godzilla in it.

THE GIANTCLAW
This movie has the reputation of having the most pathetic giant monster of all time.

Please riff Zombies of the Stratosphere. Even Nimoy says it's awful!

Romulus And The Sabines
I saw this on Amazon Prime and immediately thought of Rifftrax.
1) Classical world movie without "superhero" types and oily muscle men
2) You'll have fun & so will the audience
3) Based on a "true story" which is well defined, and the incredible abduction scene goes on and on, like "SAND STORM," except it's hilarious.

murder by death
Murder by Death is a 1976 mystery-comedy, featuring Eileen Brennan, Truman Capote, James Coco, Peter Falk, Alec Guinness, Elsa Lanchester, David Niven, Peter Sellers, Maggie Smith, Nancy Walker, and Estelle Winwood. It is hokey and has all the inappropriate racist and sexist humour you expect out of a 1976 film.

Genghis Khan (1965)
Omar Sharif as Genghis in the whitest movie about the emperor ever.
Through his life, Eli Wallach was in movies as bad as this one... and every single time he's been the only one who could save them.

The Redeemer: Son of Satan!
We know this movie as Class Reunion Massacre. It is wonderfully awful from top to bottom. The redeemer is a priest who is killing old classmates for their sinful lives thanks to the supernatural 3rd thumb he magically sprouts after being visited by a boy that came out of a lake. Oh ya, the priest also has an adult sized marionette doll helping him redeem the sinners. Everybody we have made watch this movie has come away with completely different interpretations of the movie. Even if you don't riff it, you really need to check it out!

Any Andy Sidaris movie.
The films are just stupid fun movies. Not well acted, with ridiculous plots, Erik Estrata, Pat Morita, Geoffrey Moore (Rogers son!) and, oh yes, topless playmates.
I just think it would be something that the guys could really riff on.7 votes -

CBS Children's Film Festival: Alice the Chimp/Chimp Mates (1975)
Exploring the film jungle, the next Fangarian entry of riffing in the CCFF is another quirky series called 'Chimp Mates' aka Alice the Chimp.
The Seventies proved in being a really odd time for people having exotic pets. And for some reason, long before 'When Chimps Attack,' warned us about how apes REALLY are, apparently people though it was cute for kids to own chimps as pets.
Yes, you could see the antics of chimps doing 'cute things,' but as with Kevin, you'd never see them doing REAL cute things.. like flinging poo at people, or ripping someone's face off.…

the Mission Third Planet series
Distributed by Coronet Films, an alien survey of Earth learns assorted facts about planets and animals with the help of an adorably dorky-looking robot. The ratio of aliens-and-robots frame tale content to actual educational content is unusually high.

Inside Out (The PIXAR Film)
Since you mentioned Pixar films in your VODs and shorts, why not riff an actual Pixar film? (In fact, fans haven't seen any riff on a Disney movie in a long while since High School Musical. Maybe it would be your first animated full-length movie you have ever riffed.)

Evil Things
Ok, so it's another 'found footage' movie.
Ok, so there's LOTS of driving.
Ok, so there's LOTS of walking.
But... the acting sucks. The cinematography is poor. The story is horribly written. How are we ever going to find our way back in this deep snow?
10 hours later... And what kind of animal made those tracks... in the snow? Tracks... in the snow? We're lost!!And yet, they never stop filming.
Never. Not. Filming.7 votes -
Tiger House

It's Cathy Rigby meets Home Alone.

The Santa Incident
This movie is a stinker for the holidays. It comes off as a movie made by the Asylum, but has been shown on The Hallmark Channel. Please give it consideration!
