  4. Yakuza Apocalypse

    Yakuza Apocalypse is a gory and deeply weird piece of Asian cinema. Vampires! Decapitations! A living or possibly undead tattoo! A frog mascot that may or may not be a real frog! If you can put up with subtitles, this is well worth a riff. My bad movie night group was howling at this one without riffs, and it is not a comedy.

  9. Japanese Beach Volleyball Detectives

    IMDB: "Haruka and Wakana are hot young female Tokyo Police detectives. Together, they foil international conspiracies that threaten the free world! A group of terrorists plot to set off a nuclear device in Tokyo, posing as **** female beach volleyball players. Haruka and Wakana must wear their bikinis and pose as beach volleyball players too, in an attempt to apprehend the terrorists and save the world!"

    I only got through the first one of these. It makes the shared universe of James Nguyen look like it deserves multiple Academy Award wins. It is ridiculous and worthy of riffing.

  12. Tick Tick

    Also known as “A Friend to Die For” The movie was made in 2000. It treats it’s audience as if we have no ability to piece together cause and effect (if we see a character dramatically emerge from a closet the movie gives us a flashback to show character getting in said closet.

    It also has John Ratzenberger as the worlds least stealthy private eye.

  13. The Devil's Eight (starring Ross Hagan)

    This is the movie Ross Hagan made back to back with 'Sidehackers' (aka. Five The Hard Way). It's a shameless rip-off of The Dirty Dozen, where a federal agent tasked with taking down a moonshiner (who is apparently the head of a moonshine criminal empire that can afford to pay the authorities to look the other way and whack any **** federal agent he pleases without any fear of repercussion) but can't stop getting his trained federal officers killed. So he gets the brilliant idea of press-ganging a local chain gang into helping him stop this evil moonshiner because.... uhh....…

  14. Christmas Break in

    A home alone rip off. This movie stars a little girl who is always being forgotten by her parents because her parents are busy with business stuff. The girl gets left at school and some robbers break in while she’s there. The robbers goal is pretty unclear and there’s a janitor played by Danny Glover. The dialogue is cheesy and the acting is flat. This movie would be the perfect Christmas riff.
