3. Rise of the Gargoyles (2009) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1275786/

   Hey, it's the guy from Skyline! Very cheaply made creature feature, has a 3.8 / 10 on IMDB and it's mostly the characters looking up and pretending to see Gargoyles. Good stuff. ;)

   After a TV channel aired this movie here now for the third time in short succession, I think it might be worthy of the rifftrax treatment, since I either fell asleep to it, or marveled at how bad it was and the "stellar" acting. Would rather watch any episode of the Disney Gargoyles.

5. Boo! (1980 variety special)

   This hour-long Canadian variety show is very nearly the Halloween equivalent of The Star Wars Holiday Special. At least it has its share of cheesy, dated charm, and unlike the SWHS, it doesn't pretend to be anything more than a variety show (no flimsy plot to link the songs and sketches together). It was filmed for Canadian TV in 1980 (when some remnants of the 1970s were still hanging on--hence, the disco-ish theme song and overall 70s-ness of it all). But it was shown on American TV a few times in the early 80s--the link I've provided was from a 1982 Chicago airing, and I'm pretty sure I saw it on Philadelphia-area TV, one Saturday or Sunday afternoon, in 1983.

   The premise: the classic Universal monsters, along with a slew of assorted aliens and BEMs, do a variety show full of comedy sketches and a song or two. (Dracula makes a wisecrack early on about variety being "dead", which made it the perfect vehicle for an undead host.) Most of the jokes are sub-dad jokes or so dated they barely make sense now, and there's even a somewhat homophobic joke--you know, for kids!--with two robots who didn't know the other one was male.

   Of course, you can't have a variety show without guest stars, and this one delivers--Dionne Warwick performs her then-recent hit "Deja Vu" (and pretty well, too) and Rip Taylor shows up for his usual brand of "comedy"--confetti and all.

   There's also one other semi-familiar face (or, at least, voice)...the Wolf Man is played by Peter Cullen, best known as a voice actor and the voice of Optimus Prime. (He is, after all, Canadian.)

   This show's overall cheesiness and datedness should provide LOADS of riffing fodder--certainly, the riffs would be funnier than most of the jokes! After all, you've shown you're good at lampooning 1970s Halloween specials with The Night Dracula Saved The World...

6. Introducing 🇮🇸Iceland [The Atlantic Community Series - NATO Documentaries, 1955]

   Nato history channel as a list full of these for different countries, all utterly ripe for riffing. They all have that way-too-serious narration that 50's documentaries and shorts have that would make it absolutely perfect.

11. Kecksburg (2019)

    This is a sci-fi film about the shadow government agency in charge of covering up the famous Kecksburg UFO crash. The director, Cody Knotts (Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies, Breeding Farm) attempts to form a political parrallel to current events, but misses the mark almost entirely. Audio is awful, most of the movie is out of focus, and storyline is a jumbled mess. The only decent character is the main bad guy, and he isn't given enough screen time. 17. Cherry Falls

    Small town serial killer is targeting virgins. Local Sheriff has teenage daughter who just
    happens to be (you guessed it) a virgin.At some point in the movie the local HS kids
    plan an org* to help eliminate themselves as potential victims, what could possibly go wrong. Best part for me is the indoor HS scenes were
    shot at a local HS in Richmond VA about 2 miles from me. My best friends were teachers at the school (Theater/English & Math) so there is a connection for us....plus it's pretty bad!

I think Mary Jo Pehl and Bridget Nelson would work wonders on a perfect rifftrax commentary track.

19. Mission Batangas (1968)

    This movie stars Dennis Weaver, Vera Miles, and Keith Larsen...who also wrote and directed. It’s a delicious mixture of weird cuts, mismatched weather and lighting within single scenes. Very awkward dialogue...including awful ****** innuendos and misquoted Bible verses.

    The story takes place in WW2 Philippines. Weaver (a scruffy looking nerve-hurter) and Miles, along with an acting deficient cast of locals, must trek across a Japanese invaded island, to get a plane from a missionary village, in order to make a bombing assault on a captured barge. This barge apparently has all the gold of the island on it...so the fate of the nation depends upon weaver.
