  1. Mickey Mouse: Seat Belt Expert

Co-produced by the infamous Coronet Films, this Disney live-action short teaches kids (and one negligent adult) the importance of wearing a seat belt. This short also makes liberal use of the following: the same Mickey Mouse costume you'd find at Disneyland; a little girl with the apparent power to absorb other people into her daydreams; a cameo by the protagonist of the classic short "Courtesy: A Good Egg-sample;" and, even some zoom-ins on our beloved mouse's crotch. This short just begs for a good riffing!

  2. Rock Odyssey: A Rocks & Minerals Revue

Two very stupid children called Chrystal and Sandy find a mysterious map that directs them into a dark, dank cave containing their worst nightmare: a punk-rock geologist bandleader called Micah who starts them on a magical musical journey to learn more about rocks and minerals. This journey includes many terrifying rock creatures in terrible costumes, more caves, more musical numbers and many interesting(?) facts about rocks!

  4. How to Succeed with Brunettes

An overly tacky do's and don'ts video, produced by the Navy, mixing dates and business (no, not like prostitution). The picture quality is really good, for some reason, unlike most old shorts. There's some great riffable moments, but in general it flows well enough to keep people watching in case you guys crap out on some quality riffing..haha..j/k Take a gander.

  5. Gary Coleman For Safety's Sake (1986)

"Actor Gary Coleman appears in this instructional video designed to show children how to be safe and stay safe. Included are tips on accident prevention, how to stay safe when home alone, and other procedures that have been developed by the National Safety Council and the American Red Cross.
    - Written by frankfob2@yahoo.com"

Sounds as terrible as the above mention description implies.

  6. St. Louis Museum of Transportation Virtual Tour Video

This sounds weird (it's a lot of words) but it's soooo very riffable! I don't know what the copyright laws would require, but it's worth thinking about. For one thing, the camera is set on oscillating, for two, it keeps repeating the tour of the kiddie playroom a thousand times, and for three, the museum's not even that cool! It's really boring.
Mike, Kevin, Bill: PLEASE try this. I'm begging you. And if you can't actually riff it for real, at least watch and make fun of it for your own enjoyment.

  7. Hick Trek (1999)

Less than 60 minutes run time, produced and screened at Star Trek conventions back in 1989, this Star Trek parody film was shot on 8mm.

Journey with well known beloved characters like Captain Jerk, Mr. Schlock, Horns McBoy, et al. Epic trailer park magic.

  8. Drawing for Beginners: the Triangle

Drawing for Beginners: the Rectangle was not the only film in its series. I don't know whether the Circle and Square installments are still extent, but somebody sold a copy of the Triangle last year, so it's out there, and I think it's safe to assume it is worthy of Rifftrax.

A few stills from the film are on the eBay auction, including some sort of tree dinosaur. http://www.ebay.com/itm/16-mm-Drawing-For-Beginners-The-Triangle-400-039-/361658877539?nma=true&si=FIM%252BS%252FBNp5mlh%252BgVgo4dHv%252Bgdh0%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

  9. writing well./paragraphs

This is an educational short that me and my friends at school loved as a kid. It's about a couple of kids learning how to write paragraphs from an alien named axolotl. The alien is just a man with aluminum paint and a curly blue wig. And if that weren't enough, he's actually living in one of the kid's house, ALF style. Except of course this particular extraterrestrial hates cats and thinks they're trying to eat him instead of the other way around. I cannot tell you how much I would love to see this short riffed on. I hope…

  10. Marble countertop instructional video

My wife and I bought a house from an old couple and as a courtesy they left us and instructional video tape for our marble countertop. Its made by DuPont. I also have one for a GE stove. These are great because they're from a time where companies thought people would take the time to watch this

  12. RiffTrax, please riff "What's it to you? Mylar!" I heard it had been done before but was somehow lost.

  14. Ultraman (1960's series)

The 1960's dubbed Japanese series with the Science Patrol (Hayata, Fuji, etc.) Each episode was like 30 minutes. The orange outfits with the matching ties are reason enough to riff on it.

  15. Walt Disney The story of Menstruation

Walt Disney and the story of Menstruation. This is 70 years old now. Might be a good one to riff. Thanks

  16. The American Heart Association's current BLS (Basic Life Saving) video

There are various skits with live actors about someone who becomes unresponsive and needs CPR, only when the actor or actress actually starts doing CPR, the person in need of help is switched out for a mannequin, which is suddenly wearing the person's clothes and and is in the same position the person was just in! This effect was especially creepy for the baby- CPR skit. Our entire class was laughing so hard it hurt!

  17. Garlic is as Good as Ten Mothers

It's 51 minute foodie documentary from 1980 (and it looks it too).

It's a love story to garlic (which as depicted wasn't really a big trend in the US back in the 1970s and earlier if you believe the talking heads).

One talking head mentions that he believes that vampires are real. Werner Herzog also makes a cameo.

Lots of dialogueless food prep providing plenty of space for riffing.

  18. Dating Do's And Don'ts

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxBOSdl-b54

The lead character's name is Woody. There are probably at least ten good jokes in that alone. One of those dating etiquette shorts that offers divergent time lines in how to choose, ask for, and end a date

  19. Dick Tracy Serials

    http://dicktracy.info/on-film/cliffhanger-serials/
These serials start in 1937, starring our friend from Jungle Goddess, Ralph Byrd (Aka Bob Simpson, the racist murderer). Since you riffed Ancient Batman...it behooves you (whatever behooves means) to take on one of these 15 episode serials!
