Lots of perfect riff fodder: Awful acting across the board, daytime-nighttime-daytime continuity errors up the wazoo, 30 year old 'teenagers' dancing to lame instrumental tunes, John Agar, lots of shots of various characters wandering around in the woods, a horrible 'monster' that looks like the half breed love child of Kogar & Lt. Worf. Plus lots of dead space in the film to easily riff during - without having to talk over movie dialogue.
And... This film is public domain, so no red tape and no wrestling for film rights.
