It really deserves more votes!! Its not just one thing that is ripe with comedic gold its each individual character (each of which are one dimensional and usually over the top but strangely comprehensible), its the simple plot of kids trying to save their youth center from being knocked down by the evil corporate machine armed with nothing but the power of break dancing (Breakin'); this allows for criminal overuse of montages and dance numbers, and the uniquely 80's writing (s'whack, yo) makes for jokes within jokes. The movie shows us that any and all of life's troubles may be rectified with a unceremonious pop and lock routine or hand spring. This movie also depicts the never ending battle between "The Man" vs the bandanna-ed youth (and a young Ice-T himself). The plot arcs are complete and as over the top as the rich/powerful vs poor/talented dynamic. All of these elements lead up to a (way too) happy ending that leaves us rooting for the under dog and that all break-dance dreams can come true. If all that isn't enough for you guys: BREAK DANCE ROUTINE ON THE CEILING...c'mon!!
