Jem and the Holograms
A budget of $5 million, an opening weekend total of $1.3 million, and horrid reviews all over the internet. I'm surprised it hasn't been posted here already.

It now makes sense how they made this movie for so little money. It's a Blumhouse Productions. That's there business model but usually with horror films. Though this one is existentially a horror movie at heart.
They can also do a couple of the 80s animated series as well.

I'm a huge Jem and the Holograms fan, the only way I'd see that sorry excuse for a movie (not even willing to use the word "re-boot") is if it's Riffed! There's no way you can lose on this one guys!
