3 reasons? Oh, YOR deserves a lot more than that --
1. Reb "Slam Meatchunk" Brown [he's just so cute!]
2. Italian made barbarian flick with decent production values
3. rips off both Conan AND Star Wars
4. FLAMING BROADSWORD
5. theme song seems right up Kevin's alley (if he were a short red robot with arms that didn't work)
6. I'm surprised RiffTrax hasn't done this one already, it seems like such obvious fare.
7. maybe I'm a sucker for 80s fantasy films, but these seem to provide the best riffing fodder. And at least they're not depressing like Fever Lake
8. Corinne Clery also means some possible Bond jokes.
9. a pterodactyl hang-glider? some things don't even need to be riffed.
10. Seriously, how could this not be the best RiffTrax ever? Sign me up for automatic charge to my CC. let me know when it's ready. And I'll take a T-shirt

I'm so glad this, and other films like it, are being remastered in HD so we will preserve them forever to see how bad films can truly get. It also has a commentary on the blu ray from Reb Brown which I look forward to.
You know what is crazy? Why hasn't Rifftrax gotten the rights to this film- either just for a live show or better to stream? This kind of crazy is right up their alley, and Reb Brown has been in other films riffed on MST3K. This should be a top priority! And it's been re-released this year. There has never been a better time! -

Oh my.... I’m 1 minute into this masterpiece and NEED the guys to slaughter it.

The pterodactyl he uses as a hang glider is screaming for you!

Please roast this turkey at your earliest convenience. The wigs, the looks, the future, the dinosaurs, it truly has it all!

How this flick dodged the MST3K treatment back in the day is baffling. It's tailor-made for riffing. I can only assume there is some complicated rights issue that allowed it to escape that era unscathed. And now it sits there mocking the RiffTrax crew; laughing as they continually fail to unleash their wit upon it.

Reb Brown from 'Space Mutiny'!
Corinne Clery from 'The Story of O'!
Luciano Pigozzi from, er, well, 'The Hokey-Pokey Gang'?As one character says in the film "we will need a lot more Hemp before we're through". No kiddin'!

I think this could be the mother of all Rifftrax. I know I've chimed in on this one before, but I just really want to see the guys have at this one. It was made for riffing IMHO. Ca'mon guys, take Reb to the woodshed! I beg you.

I remember seeing the commercial for Yor as a kid in the 80s and even then I could tell what a terrible movie it was. I only found out a couple days ago that Reb "Big McLargeHuge" Brown was the star. As horrible as he was in Space Mutiny, this absolutely needs to be riffed!

This is indeed the Grail. I saw this in the theater when I was a child. I want revenge.

Happy to see I'm not the only genius here. This film has it all and many great points of reference to give nods at old MST favorites. We've got Reb Brown as the all-too-smiling, wig-wearing caveman (from the future), paper-mache dinosaurs, a furry pterodactyl-like beast used as a hang-glider (hello Ator). The film also sports an amazing group of Swede rebels that fight imitation stormtroopers and a soundtrack by Italy's best Queen cover band. C'mon!

In my opinion, this could be the "Holy Grail" of Rifftrax. This clunker has it all. I would go see this at the theater And buy the DVD.

Look, we don't need a re-riff of Space Mutiny. What we *do* need is an official riff of Reb Brown's OTHER masterpiece. And since the film is still controlled by Sony/Columbia, it's certainly easier to get than other choices.
