This film is an amusing mess as it was made out of two unfinished horror films spliced together, and believe me, it shows! Riffing material for sure!

Joe Bob already did it, Carashnok. But I won’t be satisfied until Kevin, Bill, and Mike have taken a crack at this train wreck of a film.

I accidentally clicked "flag idea as inappropriate", but the only thing inappropriate is that this currently only has 20 votes to be riffed. I mean, this movie has farting zombies in it. Common!

Please riff it! Or send it over to Joe Bob to give us some insightful hilarious comments on it

This looks sufficiently weird and riffable.

What do you get when you take two horror films, one German, one American, and splice them together? You get Spookies. Marvel at a hand puppet obsessed drunkard being turned into a juice box for a giant spider lady! Gasp in amazement at the worst trick photography ever! Shriek in Terror as farting, pick axe wielding Mudmen stalk two of the most unlikeable characters in film through a dark wine cellar! Kick yourself for buying this movie at a yard sale when you were 12.. (sorry. I forgot this isn't about me. Back to the point.) This Halloween, forget about Michael Myers. Put Freddy Krueger back in the deepest recesses of your mind. It's all about zombies that say mama, and Liberace zombie Pirates stalking you through a cemetery.
Break Out Your Dixie Cups and your bad German accents. It's time to hunker down and watch one of the cheesiest movies the 1980s has to offer: Spookies. Rated R for Redundant.
