Does anyone else think they should have cast Ray as the villain and Day as the subject? He's got the awkward, misfit vibe like the original Dr. Forester, whereas she has the cute, naive Minnesotan charm to her, like Mike.
The riffing is definitely not as smart as the old show or Rifftrax, but if they switched the personnel around I think the host segments would have been watchable.
Then ditch the annoying and unnecessary special effects, and use that money to hire riff-writers who actually understand film so we can hear some satirical critique of the directing, not just juvenile chatter.
