Silent Hill definitely feels like the kind of movie that would work perfectly with RiffTrax. The visuals and monster designs are actually pretty cool, but the plot becomes so messy and overly serious that it almost invites commentary. Some scenes would probably end up being comedy gold with the right riffs. I was recently talking about cult movies with friends while browsing sites like https://ti-84calc.com and this movie instantly came to mind.
Honestly this sounds like perfect RiffTrax material. Movies like this usually have that combination of over-the-top action, strange dialogue, random comedy moments, and low-budget charm that makes the commentary even funnier. The Elvis impersonator detail alone already feels like something Mike, Kevin, and Bill would turn into a running joke for the entire movie.
A lot of these late 80s/90s action films become way more entertaining with riffs because they take themselves so seriously while everything happening on screen is completely chaotic. Those are usually the best episodes.
Also funny how niche internet recommendations can send people down random rabbit holes — I originally ended up discovering obscure movies while browsing unrelated sites and calculators like https://www.calcolastipendionetto.com/ during work breaks.
