    So... much... CHEESE! You guys have got to Riff on this. There's a special effects failure where these morons peek out of a manhole only to get runned over. If you look carefully in the shot when they "die", they're replaced with badly set dummies.

    Also, there's a woman in the film named Thomasina Paine.

    You can't make this up.

    I've seen both versions of this film. The American version is Undefeatable. The Hong Kong version is called Bloody Mary Killers.

    The Hong Kong version has a secondary storyline involving Robin Shou finding a murderer who escaped from Hong Kong and came to the U.S. to hide. Someone tried to make a composite of the two films, but it turned out over two hours long. The composite is available on YouTube, but beware of awkward audio mixing.

    Sho Nuff's name feels like the answer of all questions when someone asks him how much he loves everything Japan. Seriously, his title is the Shogun of Harlem. Examples:

    Does he take off his shoes before walking on carpet? Does he collect his favorite Anime figures? Does he wear the baddest Kimono anyone will ever see? Does he beat his futon to clean it?

    This film, along with Streets of Fire, are responsible for the inspiration of Double Dragons, Final Fight, and Streets of Rage.

    Seriously! Look at these TROPES! Easy to identify gangs, fighting through a thicket of hoodlums, and surviving long enough to confront the Big Bad.

    Ah yes. The film that inspired Streets of Rage the video game. How ironic. As I write this, there's a Streets of Rage movie in development right now. I wonder if Robin Shou will make a cameo or even Michael Pare... or BOTH! 😲

    Imagine that. Tom Cody and Liu Kang in the same film.
