The Wackiest Wagon Train in the West (1976)
Bob Denver and Forrest Tucker star in this film compiled from four episodes of the short lived TV series DUSTY'S TRAIL, created by Sherwood Schwartz. Dusty (Denver) and Wagon Master Callahan (Tucker) lead five people to California, while experiencing several misadventures along the way.
In TOMAHAWK TERRITORY, the wagon train tries to help a sick Native boy. HORSE OF ANOTHER COLOR shows Dusty taming a stray horse, only to end up being accused of horse thievery. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A DAME features two rogues trying to get some alone time with the wagon train's women. This episode guest stars Dennis Fimble (KING KONG '76, HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES). And in the final episode, NOT SO MAGNIFICENT SEVEN, the wagon train arrives in a deserted ghost town for supplies. But is it truly deserted?
Often discarded as a GILLIGAN'S ISLAND ripoff set in the Old West, this show is actually quite enjoyable and a fun tribute to GILLIGAN'S ISLAND in its own way.
This "movie" as well as the entire TV series are in the public domain, and could make for a decent VOD.

I just watched a few minutes of this thing and I must say, this is one of the best examples of acting I have ever seen. stupendous and profound.
