The Choppers (1961)
Fast-paced blk/wht morals tale of delinquent teens who chop cars and lead a sketchy life. Stars ARCH HALL JR. as Cruiser, singing "Monkey In My Hatband". Directed by his dad, of course. Also stars the ever corpulent Bruno Visota as a slovenly junkyard owner.
This is prime riffing material: punk-beatnik lingo, doddering old geezers, cops with sandwich problems, a singing cowboy, giant brick state-of-the-art walkie-talkies, and a peppy soundtrack.

This movie name could also be the title for a future movie taking place in a retirement village, where senior citizens not only swap stories, but their false teeth as well. Movie writers/producers, my idea has already been copy-written. This is comedy gold.

A gang of teenage delinquents terrorize a small community by stealing cars and stripping them for parts, then selling the parts to a crooked junkyard owner. The police and an insurance company investigator set out to break up the gang.
