Super Argo and the Faceless Monsters
Really really too awful not to have at it with both barrels. A dubbed ( Why did they bother? ) piece of landfill that make you really wonder about the minds of the film makers. Professional wrestlers are being abducted and their minds altered to turn them into a modest sized army of automatons. Presumably the goal is world domination by the evil rich guy who lives on a hill in a big house and has a skanky wife as well as a mandatory laboratory. Super Argo himself a retired pro wrestler takes on the challenge to foil the villain. The final confrontation scene shot in an leafless hardwood tree forest has the sound of dubbed footfalls on crunching dry leaves. The very refreshing and only saving grace are the final words of our hero after he dispatches the evil rich dude. Even so you are left wondering about why there is a quicksand pit in the midst of an Itaian countryside hardwood forest. Oh and yes the teardrop accessory lit station wagon with plywood wings is pretty nifty touch. Yeah maybe if you're a five year old boy.
