    I can see why people would want a new RiffTrax treatment for this one. Older sci-fi movies like this can be especially fun when the commentary points out the dated ideas, unusual dialogue, and low-budget filmmaking choices without taking the whole thing too seriously. The fact that https://meccha-chameleons.com people still remember the original episode also says something about how well the movie lends itself to this kind of humor. I’d be curious whether a new version would focus mostly on the same scenes or try to find completely different jokes.
