    I really like this suggestion because those old promo tapes have a completely different feel from modern game trailers. The N64 and PlayStation-era promotional VHS releases were basically a time capsule of how games were marketed before YouTube and social media, and there are some genuinely weird and fun ones out there. I’d definitely keep the focus on the actual game promos rather than movies or anime adaptations, and the old gaming magazine VHS/DVD compilations would be a great addition too. RiffTrax already has a history of turning unusual promotional-style material into comedy, so this feels like a natural direction to explore.
