Im honestly surprised this movie hasn't been done yet. It has so much potential for riffing. Harry Carey Jr's awful chopped liver face, Melanie Griffiths monotone attempt at delivering lines, the menagerie of thrift store reject pieces that comprise the entire movies wardrobe that somehow imply that its a "sci-fi" affair, to the almost complete lack of direction and exposition needed to know anything else than "man wants ***-bot". Then the supporting roles are numerous and successful actors of their time, more material. Its such an awfully great movie that still has me asking questions. So, go have a drink ( or two drinks ) at the Clu Clu Club and think it over.
