From Aardman Animations, the studio you'd only know for this and maybe that chicken movie with Mel Gibson, comes the second in the critically acclaimed Wallace & Gromit shorts: The Wrong Trousers.

It's the Academy Award-winning story of an eccentric scientist Englishman and his dog, who must live with the eternal horror of having no mouth in which to articulate his feelings with noise, or even the basic ability of feeding himself. To add to it, the dog is quite intelligent, no doubt able to comprehend the suffering he must endure throughout his entire existence.

To further torment the poor pooch, his owner, a cruel idiot if there ever was one, squabbles all of his savings in the construction of an automatic dog-walker, 'Techno-Trousers', if you will, that manhandle and shove the dog without any care for his well-being or safety. Thus, in order to make ends meet, the twisted sack of skin that the dog must call his master takes in a lodger, another depraved figure who further mistreats the dog, taking his room, keeping him awake at night with loud music, and usurping his place as the owner's preferred companion, leaving the dog to abandon his home, with nothing but the clothes on his back, into a future of uncertainty, doubt and danger...

Oh, and there's an evil penguin disguised as a chicken who's plotting to rob a museum. Forgot to mention that part.
