First, be in New Orleans- Next, take a bunch of bad guys who like to hire homeless vets to play "the most dangerous game", then throw in a pretty lady who hires a long shoreman (Van Dam) with a penchant for kicking tons of bad guy ass, to help her find her missing homeless vet father, lastly add a Cajun moonshiner that just happens to be Wilfred Brimley and put so much action into it that it can barely be contained! I bow to the gods of cinema! For this precious gem doth bring me to my knees - tears, laughter, nostalgia and true love - all the emotions I feel every time I see this movie
