This could be fodder for a great riff treatment. The whole feature is on YouTube.

This came out at the height of Debbie Harry popularity and Heavy Metal was a popular magazine. I love this movie and the maine song, and it is imminently riffable with over the top acting and villainy and stupid henchmen. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_%26_Rule

Okay, let this Fangarian expand on this bizarre tale. During Nelvana's odd animation, pre-Care Bear/Strawberry Shortcake Days, this was something REALLY out there.. I mean, WAAAAY out there, beyond that of THE APPLE and ROCK AND ROLL NIGHTMARE...
So where to begin? All right, in some odd, bizarre parallel universe, there is this rock star called Mok (yes, in fact there's a song called 'My Name is Mok, Thanks a Lot..' something Kevin would probably LOVE to riff), and he summons up Angel to come and join his band, while his band members suspect something's not kosher, since in the Past, Mok has never been interested in their band before..
Well, there's a reason behind this, apparently Mok wants to unleash some dimensional demon so he can take over this realm, but he needs Angel's voice to summon it and control it (yeah, because THAT'S ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA!), and what occurs is an adventure where her band members follow her and Mok to Nuke York (once again, can't make this stuff up, even if I tried) to prevent Mok from carrying out the dark experiment. And you thought the Master in Manos was a bit strange...
One reason this movie deserves riffing is the fact the tale is pretty much all over the place, and apparently has songs from a lot of 80s rock stars, crammed in there, to pad out the film, while distracting you to the fact of how ridiculous this film is, even moreso than Rock and Roll Nightmare.
