Because of cybertruck I have discovered this film just this weekend... And if ANYTHING deserves riffing, THIS now joins Chopping Maul in my mind as most deserving.

This is what everyone, including Fox, were certain was going to be the smash sci-fi hit of 1977, and definitely not that ridiculous looking Flash Gordon rip-off by American Graffiti's director.
