Socialite mother and daughter hoard out in their later years - very strange! I think the Drew Barrymore version would be less sad- the documentary is just so depressing because you're like 'these were real people living like this' and the realism takes away from the comedic value- but they have passed away so I suppose it would be to your discretion which version works better- documentary is shorter - or the hilarious Documentary Now version with Fred Armeson and Bill Hader is just delicious!
