Jail Bait (1954, Howco Productions, Ed Wood, dir.)
From the producers of the notorious "Mesa Of Lost Women" comes one of Ed Wood's lesser-known stinkburgers, his attempt at film noir. Stars Clancy Malone, Timothy Farrell -- who we all know from "Racket Girls" and "Violent Years" -- the redoubtable Lyle Talbot, a young Steve Reeves, and Wood's main squeeze Delores Fuller.
The son of a famous L.A. plastic surgeon gets mixed up with a local hood, and shoots a night watchman in a robbery; hilarity (of a sort) ensues.
Also features that same jangly, spastic fake flamenco guitar thrashing and piano-stabbing music that was featured in "Mesa Of Lost Women" -- and I mean, it's THE SAME DAMN' MUSIC.

I support doing this one -- but with the controversial (and very dull) "blackface" scene edited out. It's barely over two minutes long, plenty of movie left to riff.
If Rifftrax can edit "It's a Wonderful Life", then it can surely cut up an Ed Wood film as much as it wants to!

"horribly racist blackface act that Ed Wood felt HAD to be done." Ed had nothing to do with that scene; it was taken from another movie and added by the producer. The original version has a burlesque act that was probably too hot for many theaters at the time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOFb30P32uc Ed Wood's attempt at crime noir from 1954. FIlm noir the Ed Wood Way. Co-stars Timothy Farrell of "Racket Girls" fame. Features the same faux flamenco thrashing, spastic piano-banging soundtrack as "Mesa Of Lost Women".

OH MY GOSH! I was going to request this movie! I changed my mind because of the horribly racist blackface act that Ed Wood felt HAD to be done.
