Adventures of Serial Buddies
Someday, the teenagers who made this film will improve their craft and mature their senses of humor and could actually make something worthwhile. But until then-- oh, excuse me. This movie wasn't made by teenagers, it was written and directed by a 45-year-old man who calls himself a filmmaker, and produced by his girlfriend, celebrity interviewer Maria Menounos. You can understand my mistake - one main character is supposed to be funny because he's gay, and the other is supposed to be funny because he's mentally handicapped (a third character is funny because he's fat). The plot is supposed to be about two serial killers on a road trip killing spree, but it's really about them making pit stops to NOT murder all the movie's "guest stars," like Chris McDonald, Artie Lange, Kathy Lee Gifford, and Christopher Lloyd. When the funniest jokes in your movie come from Kathy Lee, you need to look at your life and reevaluate your choices.
