Van Helsing (Jackman)

STAR WARS STINKS commented
What do you get when you mix vampires, werewolves, and Frankenstien? You get the worst movie I have ever seen, besides Star Wars, Hunger Games, and Harry Potter. Let me just list all the faults this film has:
1: Van Helsing is supposed to be the hero, but he is thrown around, shot at, picked up by vampires, and attacked both physically and verbally by Dracula. Our hero. Yippee. (Hope you sensed the sarcasam).2: The CGI is awful, and the stunts put Fast and Furious moves to shame. Seriously, Vin Diesel and The Rock probably cried like babies.
3: 50 per cent of the lines in the script are "AAAAAH! EEEEK! OHH!"
The vampire women DON'T. STOP. YELLING.Bonus Reasons: The female lead is a warrior, yet she wears HIGH heels as she RUNS. Also, they use technology soooooo not right for the 1600's. Even T.V. screens!

It's hard to acknowledge that I was once obsessed over this film. It did lead me to discover the classics but it's too awful for me to look back at. Hugh Jackman playing a de-clawed Wolverine, weak plot that leans too much on the special effects and never takes it's time, the special effects are over-the-top and downright goofy at some points.

I was shocked to discover "Van Helsing" is not in the catalog already. Such a stinker! And wasn't this the first time we ever saw Industrial Light & Magic phone-in the CG? I'd love to hear the fellas riff on the terrible, terrible CG...
