Unpregnant (2020)
From Wikipedia:
Unpregnant is a 2020 American female buddy road comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg. The film is based upon the novel of the same name by Ted Caplan and Jenni Hendriks. The film follows a pregnant teenager Veronica who discovers that she cannot get an abortion in her home state of Missouri without her parents' permission and subsequently convinces her former friend Bailey to take a road trip with her to Albuquerque so she can get one there.
Not From Wikipedia:
The plot of the film can be described as "'Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987)' meets 'Never Rarely Sometimes Always.'" The film tries to be hip but fails, has a few long, pointless scenes, and has two main characters who are scared of Texan panhandlers for whatever reason.
However, being an anti-forced birth/pro-choice/etc. film, abortion is portrayed accurately compared to Unplanned (2019). The state laws surrounding the issue were also well-researched.
