Hoping to overthrow his brother as ruler of the planet Metropolis, the evil Graal enlists the help of the insane Dr. Kraspin, who has invented a chemical capable of turning an ordinary person into a perfect soldier. They test this chemical on the pilot Golob, turning the unsuspecting victim into a mindless but indestructable automaton possessing superhuman strength. I absolutely think this Star Wars ripoff deserves to be riffed. It's just loaded down with moments that beg to be riffed. Three reasons:
1) Richard Kiel. I mean, it your movie lists Richard Kiel as the main attraction and the big name on the marquee, that tells you something right there, doesn't it? I mean...
2) It's Italian. That means it's got that certain "The voice track doesn't match my lips" and "The plot makes no sense" je ne sais quoi thing going for it. Mixing my metaphors a bit, but you get it.
3) Barbara Bach wearing a dress that shows most of her boobage and a wig that looks like it was made from a 70s metal band singer for half of the movie. Then the other half she wears bondage gear. I mean, come on, guys. That's got to be worth something!
