There's a 1990 film called Forbidden Nights. It stars Little House on the Prairie's Melissa Gilbert and Mortal Kombat's Robin Shou.

This is Robin's first American role on American TV. He also became good friends with Melissa Gilbert and her crew from Half Pint Enterprises (That's right! Her own company from her days on Little House on the Prairie) while filming this Made for TV film as well as getting his A$$ kicked by Donnie Yen while working with Yuen Wo-Ping on Tiger Cage 2 (Both films were in production in the same year. Yes, you can imagine during the day he kissed Melissa while during the night, he made Hong Kong MTV's GO WEST star David Wu and Donnie Yen kiss his fist in a no holds barred Beatdown)
