Restoration, Inc.
I was the gaffer for this film in 2016, and during production I couldn’t help but think of how perfect it would be for Rifftrax. My thoughts were cemented when it was finally released last year.
No matter the synopsis, it’s basically The A-Team on a “z” budget. A team of criminals or otherwise misunderstood experts (read: The Hacker, The Chemist, The… Ventriloquist?) is amassed by a mysterious CIA rep to take down an international drug lord. Thrill! as the writer-producer cast herself in a main role! Chill! as the team fortifies themselves in an abandoned Mervyns! Spill! your lunch as you realize the crew had to take on roles because the budget wouldn’t allow for more “actors!” (I ultimately played a thief stealing a briefcase full of drugs… no wardrobe required (wink)).
The final release is fairly enjoyable and entertaining, especially to those of us who revel in the unintentionally absurd. Not to mention that selfishly it would be a dream come true for something I’ve worked on to get the Rifftrax treatment.

What do you think, sirs? (And madams, of course).
