Set in the lush, rainy world of Ireland, Rawhead Rex shows us a glimpse into the mad genius of Clive Barker. Or would, if the film was any good. Even the author himself has disowned this film, which he wrote himself, as the acting is awful and the monster's design is even worse. He reportedly wanted the monster to resemble a part of the male genitalia, so not sure if that would be better.
The film features an American family that has traveled to Ireland so the father can traipse around old churches. During one jaunt some locals release an ancient evil deity - don't you just hate when something happens to ruin your trip? Now it's up to the Americans to save themselves and defeat the evil Rawhead Rex.
This film is so bad it's fantastic.
