Allie & Obie
This is the perfect movie for Rifftrax - the acting is only marginally better than Rollergator. Like that movie, the cast is made up of a bunch of unknowns and one who has done some Hollywood (Byron Baudo) stuff. A young girl has a telepathic talking dog who helps her with her homework and "saves the day." (I guess) - I was actually thinking this WAS a Rifftrax movie and there was just no dialogue track. It seems to be the only project done by this team and looks like a student film at best. So I'm not sure how it has made it to the free/streaming circuit now (it's on Crackle, Tubi, Vudu and Amazon Prime) but there it is, and wasted part of a day watching it.Cute overall, and four year olds will probably rate it five stars, but this one is just WAITING to be riffed - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4170168 (it's so bad that they don't even know which spelling to use for Allie (or is it Ally?). Find a watchable version here if you don't have Amazon Prime - https://tubitv.com/movies/539309/ally-obie
