Dave Nichol's BBQ Secrets is an infomercial that barely pretends to be a cooking video. And Dave doesn't seem happy about it. In fact, he usually sounds under duress.

This is an infomercial with two parts: The first part is a 25 segment where Dave Nichols instructs on how to cook an authentic North American bar-b-que for the Queen of England and her 48 retainers. This requires using prepackaged, branded foodstuffs using flavors "inspired" by different regions of the British commonwealth.

The second part is 50 minutes of assorted recipes; the segments are a couple of minutes to several minutes long.

Saying these recipes are "cooked" on the grill is a stretch. Dave Nichol's steams his meats before grilling, he warms up prebaked pizza crusts in the oven, and he defrosts meringue nests for a custard.

This feels like it would be a good riff for Bridge and Mary-jo, Sean and Conner, or all four.
