I’m dumbfounded that this one hasn’t been done yet. I’d love to see it riffed if only because it has John Carradine chewing up scenery and a goofy monster

I agree it is similar to the Crater Lake Monster and also has some Gorgo and Octoman vibes. Come back here Bill; no cave scene! This is another Carradine jewel, ahem, gruel. It took two directors to accomplish in about a week, no wait, in nearly a decade. Musta been the great dialog.
