Troll 3 aka The Crawlers aka Contamination .7 (1993)
You think you know terrible, you think you know bad well you don't know any of that until you watch Troll 3!!! Also known as The Crawlers which is a better title as this film has absolutely nothing to do with Trolls! Makes Trolls 2 seem infinitely better done by comparison as a small redneck town is overrun by killer trees! No, wait, that isn't quite right, it is overrun by tree roots! I wonder if it has anything to do what that chemical plant in town?

This AMAZING 1991 gem is a Joe D’Amato produced Italian horror film set in America (so really bad, stilted dubbing) about... evil tree roots! Not the whole tree, just the roots. It’s the best “plants attack” film since The Happening, and the cast (who mostly act like they’re mildly sedated) REALLY earn their paychecks with absurd amounts of screaming when they are getting rooted to death. The root attacks are also accompanied by a bullwhip ***** sound that’s used so much I am pretty sure at least four folly artists got carpel tunnel syndrome.
