Superman The Movie
The original Movie is good, but it hasn't really aged well and the ending is truly cringe worthy. Also a number of comparisons to the new films could be made ie:
Walking away from Johnathan's funeral
Kevin as Martha: It sad that your father is gone Clark but what matters is he didn't die in some really stupid way, like saving a trapped dog from a tornado and then telling you not to save him.
Bill as Johnathan: No no. I got this.
Mike: Hey mama could you keep the weeping a minimum, you are disturbing Norman Osborne's funeral on the next hill.
Superman's crystal breaks up ice and creates fortress of Solitude:
Al Gore Impression the continued creation of Superman's Fortress of Solitude is damaging the polar ice caps. Causing the death of millions of polar bears. This is an inconvenient truth.

@starkadder you should see it. It's actually a great Movie, but it's also a product of it's time. Highly riff-able. Between it and Superman II (Donner Cut) it's still the best portrayal of Superman put on film. And while Lex Luthor is deliberately comic across the two films, and not really threatening at all, he is infinitely Superior to anything Jesse Eisenburg could attempt to be in his wildest dreams.

Probably the slightly extended version (not the new 3 hour cut) would be best as it's the version most people have
