U.K. film. Produced by Ringo Starr and released by Apple Films, Son of Dracula was billed as "The First Rock-and-Roll Dracula Movie." This is the best quality version we've seen, out of many lesser quality ones!

Son of Dracula has received some terrible reviews over the years but we think it has its merits. Ringo Starr plays Merlin the Magician and Harry Nilsson plays Count Downe, the Son of Dracula. The Count's rock-and-roll band, the Count Downes, include members Klaus Voormann, Keith Moon, Peter Frampton, John Bonham, Leon Russell, Bobby Keyes, and Jim Price who can all be seen rocking away in performance scenes.
