1973 Public domain starting Royal Dano, Elisha Cook jr., a bit part by Walter Hill and unknown actress Joy Bang.
The first scene, fat kid murders sweaty man, seems to have nothing to do with the rest of the movie.
The main movie: hot woman searches for her missing father in a weird town. There are hippies, a creepy albino African American, and the obligatory creepy gas station attendant to warn people away from the creepy town.
Favorite scene is when she goes to the grocery store, and the other customers behave so strangely. Reminds me of shopping at a Walmart.

Not a bad movie, but one that I think is ripe for some great riffing due to the pace of dialogue and all the super weird **** that happens throughout the movie.

Also known as Dead People, the film is enjoyed by others, but I found it contained too many scenes of the girl searching for her father talking to the dude who is with the two girls instead of focusing on the town which is somewhat interesting as they are slowly falling apart. The movie scene and grocery scene are pretty good though.
