The Legend of Hell House
Watching it now. Written by the great Richard Matheson, but with Roddy McDowell mostly saying things like, "Really?" and "You think so?" In the style of Roddy McDowell. One character (a wide-eyed wife) who is only there to ask questions. So many pauses. And it takes place the week before Christmas. The budget for dishes to fly across the room must have been enormous. Riff or just enjoy.

My wife and I have been going through a bunch of classic Haunted House movies and I was always tangentially aware of this one, but never have seen it.
Dear god, this movie is something. What that thing is, is one of those “So bad it’s good” type of films. Between the pseudo science technobabble, oppressive Britishness, obvious influences for Dan Aykroyd’s Ghostbusters, dry humping banisters, and the spine-chilling reveal that the killer was… short…
And, while I really love the gems of awful cinema you have been finding recently (Seriously how many drugs were done during the making of Plankton?) Hell House one feels like a good old fashioned MST style film to riff.

Correction: watching more and it's devolved into a 1970's... well, just forget what I said. Skip it. Yuck. Blecch. Sheesh!
