The Wacky World of Mother Goose
Three years after Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the Rankin & Bass animation company phoned in this 2D tale of a coup in the land of nursery rhymes. If you've ever considered taking on an animated feature, this might just fit the bill. It has a plot on par with a Pirates World productions, and the animation is only slightly more articulate than the average Clutch Cargo episode. Old King Cole smiles stupidly as his daughter is kidnapped, and our hero Mother Goose continues to sit on her ass on the moon for quite some time after she begins to suspect her kingdom is in need of aid. Maybe in 1967 wacky had a different meaning than it does today. I know you don't typically riff on comedies, but as you'll barely crack a smile, this barely qualifies.
I can't find any trailers online, but the following clip compilation will give you an idea of the production value.
