Tim Burton's Hansel and Gretel (1983)
This movie is Tim Burton's first attempt at a film, and a bit of an old shame for him. It's not hard to see why: the movie has production values only slightly better than a school play, the musical score is weird jazz that doesn't fit the scenes, and some confusing plot holes are never explained. But Burton's creepy, bizarre designs are on display throughout--just wait until you see Dan-Dan the Gingerbread Man. Another interesting feature is that the movie has an entirely Asian cast, something The Last Airbender couldn't manage. Perhaps this is why the climax includes a candy-cane nunchaku, gingerbread shuriken, and the witch dragon-kicking her way into the over.
This movie isn't exactly bad, but it's certainly bizarre enough to warrant a riff.

Watching the Bobsheaux review of this film. This Burton film must be riffed for the sake of humanity and all that blah blah blah.....

Defiantly would love to see this riffed. As much as I love Burtons works this would most likely rate high in the most watched.

Even funnier when this aired on the Disney Channel for Halloween, they had Vincent Price appear and give a warning to parents the story might prove frightening to children, though it was Tim Burton and Dan-Dan does resemble like something from the animated Beetlejuice (which Tim Burton also created).
