The Peanut Butter Solution
- Longest commercial for Skippy peanut butter—or any peanut butter—ever made: https://goo.gl/6Vrluq (wait till the end!)
- Michael Hogan is the most supportive enthusiastic dad ever: https://goo.gl/k4mdh7 (yup, connie the third grader superhero used hair growth formula on his...area)
- Celine Dion's first english performance, because this movie is definitely Canadian: https://goo.gl/Jte2Bc (and yes, his coat is made entirely of one child's hair) Bonus: The plot takes more twists and turns than could possibly be imagined. I've never been able to get through more than half of "Kid goes into haunted house gets so scared he loses his hair his sister acts like his mom even though mom is 'in australia,' kid woken up by ghosts who convince him to buy skippy peanut butter to grow hair back but it doesn't stop growing and french art teacher tortures third graders in his class with his dog artist model but best friend is defiant until all the children are kidnapped to manufacture magical human hair brushes and—"

Like many others, I watched this movie when I was a child. My sister and I remember it, but it seemed none of the friends our age had any clue about it. We couldn't remember the name of the movie and thought it might be a shared delusion. The film caused me to have a reoccurring dream where I entered a creepy old house and I went bald from fear. I would occasionally have this dream until my early 30s when I finally tracked the name down and watched it for the first time in probably 25 years. After this viewing, the dreams stopped, which is interesting considering one of the main themes of the movie is how confronting your fears takes away their power over you. I'd love to see a riff of this movie.

This was one of the most odd and disturbing cinematic memories from my childhood and because it's such a random and almost "subconscious" cult classic, it needs to be riffed. The awkward moments are so ripe for commentary!!

I vividly remember watching this as a kid. Especially when the boy says he wants to grow some hair 'down there' and it ends up spilling out of his pant legs.

This movie is waiting to be brought from the depths of the memories of 70s and 80s kids. Most people don't remeber or have a memory so vague the movie seems it never existed. We need the guys to bring this to new generations in a way only Rifftrax can. This movie was made to be riffed and I feel would be an instant favorite.

Don't forget the really, really, REALLY inappropriate relationship between the father and daughter.

Peanut butter is the secret ingredient for magic potions made by two friendly ghosts. Eleven-year-old Michael loses all of his hair when he gets a fright and uses the potion to get his hair back.

Haven't seen or heard of this Canadian kids film but hey. It looks terrible and has a likely bit too high rating of 6.3 on IMDb due to sentimentality of those who seen it as kids.

Like many others, I saw this movie as a child several times. I forgot the name of it as I grew up, but I swear I had dreams about it well into adulthood. I would always ask people about it, the general theme I remembered anyway, but no one knew what I was talking about. For awhile I thought it was a false memory. Finally tracked it down, and strangely my story is very common with other people my age. I would love to see it riffed.

This movie terrified my sister and me as kids! So, the only natural thing to do was show everyone that we knew. It is a "cult classic" in our household!

This movie disturbed me as a kid. More people need to be exposed to this and back me up when I say that whoever made this has serious issues.

This movie messed up my friend as a child, and it is easy to see why. It's like they saw The Never-ending Story and asked, "how can we make the opposite of this?" Just insane Canadian film making at it's finest.

OMG they have to do this. How did I not hear about this before? This is begging to be riffed.

Lol I just watched the links!!! This is in need of such a riffing! (Referring to second link) it clearly shows that this Connie boy actually put some of that "solution" on his downstairs- and the hair obeys him when he yells at it to stop growing! Creep out factor 10 out of 10- The trailer, if it can truly be called a trailer, is so disjointed and confusing I honestly didn't understand there was a third child -whom this movie is about!
The third link with the Celine song is just priceless! PLEEZE PLEEZE PLEEZE riff this guys!!!
