    The old Caption This! worked by combining randomized screenshots with a lightweight caption submission and voting system. Rebuilding something similar today would be very feasible—images could be served through a content delivery network, captions stored in a simple database, and engagement driven by upvote/downvote mechanics or ranking algorithms. Moderation filters could also be automated with modern NLP tools.

    It’s the same principle that makes apps like Avatar World Mod APK (https://avatarwrldapk.com/)
    engaging: give users modular tools to create, customize, and interact with content, and the community does the rest. Applied here, it would keep the RiffTrax site lively with fresh, user-generated riffs in between official releases.
