Hi Kevin.

Grant Baciocco here. We met briefly during the shooting of Season 11 of MST3K. I am one of the puppeteers for the current show.

I wanted to reach out to you to see if you were possibly interested and available to be part of a live podcast recording I’m doing at the National Puppetry Festival on Friday, July 19, 2018 at 7PM. It’ll be in the Cowles Auditorium on the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus and will last about an hour.

Trace has agreed to take part and I’d love to get both of you for the evening, if possible. The focus of the panel/podcast recording would be the puppetry of Mystery Science Theatre, so less about “What’s the worst movie you ever saw?” and more “How did you develop your puppetry style for the show?” The focus would definitely be the puppetry.

It would be audio recorded for my podcast called Under the Puppet - underthepuppet.com - which is a show focused on discussing the art and business of puppetry. I’d have questions for the first 45 minutes and then we’d open it up to questions from the (mostly puppeteer) audience.
