Writing Riffs
Hey guys, I'm a big fan and have a question. I'm thinking of writing riffs for a movie, as a creative hobby type thing. Is there a format that you use with the script? Like a side by side thing or color coded lines or whatnot?

Hey MC, that’s an awesome creative hobby! When writing riffs for a movie, many riffers use a side-by-side script format where the original movie script is placed on one side and your riff lines are added alongside, often time-stamped or color-coded for clarity. You can also insert comments directly into a copy of the script using different colors or bold text to differentiate your riffs from the dialogue. It's all about keeping it readable and in sync with the scene.
