Gotta respect someone willing to challenge social mores and the "truths" of the masses.

After all, that's what changed society into this nonsense that so many love so dearly in the first place.

That being said, while I think that unchecked misandry among feminists and society in general warrants the creation of a film like this, i think it is too unsubtle to do more than represent one man's attempt to withstand the emasculation of society and probably further entrench a lot of people in their intolerance.

Yeah, please expand. I loved Yellowbeard myself and would like to see it riffed, but you need to give us more of a reason to support it - reasons, preferably screenshots, a summary or link to IMDB... If it's worth riffing, then it's worth full-assing the suggestion :)

Haha, I went through my notes on my old bad movies and found I had summed this one up with "Stick with Space Mutiny instead" :P

While I haven't seen it, I can't not quote Tom Servo: "Why did they cancel Manimal!? Why!?"

I understand it's a silent film, so that would give them less to work with, and also given the nature of the film and the modern political climate, i think it would tie the riffers' hands quite a bit at the risk of, for example, having their office in California burnt down by a riotous mob.

Screenshots or it didn't happen :P

Seriously, those last two are some impressive claims, but I really want to see what constitutes the most blatant act of product placement - I've seen some really impressive ones in the past.

I have to say I think that "Super Sonic" the Super Man (that's two words, two non-trademark-infringing words) could take the Puma man in a competition for lamest super hero.

There is a request for a three-riffer version (posted by yours truly), please vote for it if you want to see it redone like I do!

Move over, The Night Dracula Saved Halloween! This is the cheesiest, silliest, most amazing Halloween movie ever. Every time I thought it had reached its peak, it surprised me again. It's the kind of film where (as they occasionally do in others) Mike, Kevin, or Bill might say "If [such and such] happens, this would be the greatest movie ever!" and it does!

about fifteen minutes in I thought to myself "From here on out the movie is just couples being introduced to be killed." - it's basically the same scene with different (yet interchangeable) people for like ten minutes. One of the best parts was the way the main character playing the gladiator sounded like a six year old trying to do a deep voice when he said "I am Tyranus".

The opening paragraph spoken by the narrator says it all:

"It is the year 2025, almost 40 years since the great holocaust. A once proud world has been reduced to ruin, famine, and despair in the bitter aftermath of war. Now mankind's last, frail hope lies in a fabled object which has the power to turn back time and perhaps to undo the evil which has befallen the world."

    Here's where it gets good.

"That object is the spear of Longinus. The spear which pierced the body of Christ on the cross and which holds the very power of creation itself. In a desperate attempt to find the spear and journey back in time to prevent the holocaust, a small band of rebels has crossed deep into the forbidden zone."

Seriously, even without the Rifftrax I encourage people to watch this movie once - it's just amazing. I'm about halfway through it myself and see that another Anonymous beat me to the punch of suggesting it :) And the gadgets 00 (or Weng Weng) has are great.
